1x Calvet Gigondas 2021. Nestled in the heart of the Rhône Valley, Gigondas AOP is renowned for its robust and full-bodied wines. Crafted primarily from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, Gigondas wines boast rich flavours of dark berries coupled with nuanced notes of spices and herbs. With a robust structure and well-integrated tannins, these wines showcase the region’s unique terroir. Gigondas AOP wines are often considered a powerful and age-worthy alternative to their more famous neighbour, Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
1x Calvet Chateauneuf Du Pape 2022. This classic is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre aged on the lees and then part of it in oak. This Limited Release Calvet Chateauneuf du Pape is rich and complex, with wonderful red layered notes of bright cherry and black fruit aromas. Coarse on the palate, the dark fruits carry through to meet a heady, spiced note. It will pair exceptionally well with lamb, pork or poultry.
