A supple spicy Syrah, this wine has lifted aromas of violet and pepper, and rich flavours of blueberry, plum and a dusting of cocoa. The palate is ripe and supple with fine tannins and a smooth fresh finish. Excellent with duck, venison casserole, roast beef and mushroom.

Delicious and fresh with best drinking from late 2023 through 2030+.”
The fruit was harvested at optimal ripeness and crushed to open topped tanks for fermentation. A combination of pump over, plunging and post ferment maceration ensured a gentle extraction of flavour and tannin.The wine was aged in tank and French oak barrels for 16 months before blending and bottling.
