The high altitude Bendigo site at the foothills of the Dunstan Range balances daytime warmth with nocturnal cool. Along with this, fine sand, loess and schist based soil gives clean, pristine fruit of great quality. Its from here that Gibbston Valley’s top single vineyard wines are drawn.
After spending 10 months in French oak, with 33% new, the resulting wine is complex with aromatic red fruits, a savoury tannin profile and full structure.
