Lovers of the classic Marlborough Pinot Noir – this is an unmissable deal! Thanks to a cancelled export order from a premium producer, we’ve snapped up this Pinot for a dime. Strictly limited stocks so act quick on what’s here – it won’t last!
While Marlborough is most well- known for its zingy Sauv’s, its also home to plots of Pinot Noir doted around the region. Marlborough is known for its warm days and cool nights, wide range of soils and surrounding hills that help keep the winds at bay. These environmental factors allow Pinot Noir to flourish and this 2020 is no different. Ripe red cherries with a fleshy and fruity finish are tempered with zingy acidity and easy tannins. At this price, fill and case and enjoy. Drink now and into 2025.
Pairs well with hot ham, pork, chicken, light red meat dishes, grilled dishes, seared tuna, stews and casseroles, pizza and pasta or ideal just as a glass of wine on its own.
18/20, Wine Central Tasting Panel
This Pinot Noir was vinified in small batches using traditional hand-plunging in open top fermentation vats before gentle pressing, the wine was then matured in tank before bottling. The palate has pleasant acidity and good concentration meaning it will pair well with a range of foods.
