Belcolle Barolo DOCG Riserva 2012 A unique Barolo Riserva 10 Anni which is Luca Bosio’s tribute to his wife Valentina and their 10 wedding anniversary. The color is intense garnet red with a hint of brown hues. The aroma is intense and typical of the Nebbiolo grape with complex aromas of dark cherries, violets, hot spices, tar and truffles. The taste is dry and full-bodied with velvety tannins. The aftertaste is long and harmonious. Enjoy the wine with meat dishes, such as long-braised beef brisket or ripe cheeses. Pour it at 18 – 20 degrees.
Bosio Barbaresco DOCG Boschi dei Signori 2018 Garnet red in colour, this Nebbiolo shows floral aromas typical of the grape when young, together with chocolate, toast and spicy notes from its time in oak. It has great structure and big tannins but, thanks to the amount of ageing, the wine is smooth and its structure matches perfectly with its intense aromas and flavours.
Luca Bosio Piemonte Barbera Apassimento DOC 2020 A creamy and intense Barbera that’s oozing with flavour. Very dark and the taste is dominated by ripe cherry and plum. Fruity wit a smooth with silky tannins and low acidity. A big and full-bodied wine that goes pier well with food and on it’s own.
Luca Bosio Dolcetto d’Alba 2020 Ruby red with violet reflections, the nose is intensely fruity and spicy. It’s balanced, tannic and an exemplary Dolcetto.
Luca Bosio Langhe Favorita DOC 2020 Favorita is a lesser-known white grape variety, mostly grown in the Piedmont region and the Langhe. Usually made as a ready to drink, table wine there have been some expressions made more recently with the ability to age, developing a minerality and integrated fruit flavour. Luca Bosio ferment their Favorita in steel before giving it time on its lees to enhance the complexity. Notes of citrus fruit and jasmine are most obvious.
Luca Bosio Langhe Chardonnay DOC 2021 Modern winemaking techniques like fermentation in steel and resting on its lees, were used and the result is a smooth, fruit forward wine with well-balanced acidity. Chill this one down and enjoy on a warm afternoon. Drink now. Ideal as aperitif or with fish.
