A five vineyard blend: three Bendigo (50%), one Pisa (46%), and one Gibbston (4%) where Bendigo has provided structure and weight, Pisa the mid-palate fleshiness and Gibbston the fragrance.
The fruits from the various vines were vinified and pressed separately, then spending 10 months in French oak, 23% new.
A complex wine with definite ageing potential. Fresh in nature with a spicy and sappy drive, red fruits, elegant form and a long mineral finish.
Will drink excellently over the next 5 years.
