Château de Calebret 2019 is the latest vintage from Chateau de Calebret to hit our shelves and if you loved the 2018 then you’re in for a treat with this one. It’s a blend of mostly Merlot and Cab Sauv, meaning the red fruits are most obvious on the nose. The palate is backed up with spice, vanilla, dark chocolate, and a hint of smoke.
Château Haut Laulion Bordeaux Supérieur AOP 2018 is easy drinking from a great vintage. Give this one half an hour or so in a decanter to allow its true colours to shine, and you won’t be disappointed. Notes of vanilla, blackberries, and with a hint of oak, the tannins and acidity are noticeable, but, with a bit of time, they balance out as a perfect mid-week quaffer. Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30% Will cellar up to 8 years.
Château Alexandre Bordeaux 2021 is medium-full bodied, well rounded and its subtle black and red fruit aromas make it a match made in heaven for any roast. The vineyards are in the Entre- Deux-Mers region on a sunny hillside overlooking the area. While everything is kept traditional in terms of vineyard management, there’s been some modernisation in the cellars allowing the wines to age for longer. Its equal parts Cab Sauv and Merlot, with a small amount of Malbec and Carmenere for body and spice. Try it today or keep for a few more years.

Château Toutigeac Grand Reserve Bordeaux Rouge 2020 is a classic blend of 35% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot 50%. Beautiful deep colour with purple tints. Focused and fruity nose with faint toast in the background. The same elegant aromatic combination flows through to the palate; the volume, breadth, and silky tannins suggest good aging potential. A very accessible, supple, crisp Bordeaux. It pairs well with barbecue, pork ribs, roasted game meat, and nuts cake. Will keep for up to 8 years.
Château Ragon Bel-Air Bordeaux Supérieur AOP 2018 is a beautiful deep red colour with purplish nuances. The nose is expressive and intense with aromas of red fruit. On the palate, it has an excellent harmonious length with soft tannins. 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc. Bordeaux, France.
Cháteau Mezain Bordeaux 2021 reveals a supple, juicy texture reminiscent of delectable blueberry jam. Made from a carefully curated blend of 68% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 12% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it carries the signature touch of Bordeaux winemaking.
